Happy Retirement Daddy!

Last night we celebrated my Dad. After 40+ years of working he has finally retired. He has been off and home since November, but due to the holidays, Mom hosted his retirement dinner last night.
We went to his favorite restaurant, The Concord Cove and had a delicious meal. He was joined by our family and my brother and nephew, as well as my Mom's sister and her husband and 10 of their best friends.
It was so neat to sit around the table with people that have poured so much into my life over the last 37 years and completely supported my parents. They have great friends that have been through thick and thin and supported them spiritually through everything.
I am so proud of my Dad and hope that he enjoys his retirement. I am sure he will get bored and go back to work soon...after he finishes his to-do list from Mom that is.
