VIP Day!
This year VIP day was extra special because we had both Walter and Ann Elizabeth participating in the program. It was so exciting for us as parents to see them both perform sweet songs they had learned with all the hand motions. Walter and all the kindergarteners were on the front and he was so serious about singing. He would only look at his music teacher. So precious. Ann Elizabeth was able to sit in the choir loft with all the other 2-5 graders. She was so into singing and knew all the hand motions. It was such an enjoyable experience for them and such a treat for all of us to watch. I love being able to be a part of my kids at school and watching everything that they do. Such a blessing to be at Carmel Christian School.

UGA vs. AUBURN!
This weekend for my 35 birthday Walter planned an entire weekend in Athens, GA for the UGA/Auburn game. He invited some of our friends we are Auburn friends so it was a great time. We went down on Friday afternoon and stopped and shopped in Commerce, Georgia at the outlets. When we arrived Friday afternoon and we pulled up to the most beautiful & charming B&B. The Colonel's Bed & Breakfast. It was beautiful and so romantic. The property was amazing with all the horses and the landscape was in full fall swing.

Friday night we had an amazing dinner downtown at a cute little restaurant and then walked around.

I really wish that they had more of the same types of places in Charlotte. To live in a college town would be great. They had cute little coffee shops/houses, wonderful restaurants and then fun places to stop and grab a beer.

Saturday was GAME DAY! It was so much fun. We headed downtown to tailgate before the game and Walter had another surprise waiting. Our friend Henry Cole came up for the game to join us. We miss him so much...it was like old times to have him with us again!

GAME TIME!!

Sunday we walked around the UGA campus where Walter went to school. It was so neat to see the campus. It is really beautiful.

It was the best birthday weekend ever. My first UGA game and first visit to the school. I hope our kids want to go there one day. Walter and I would have so much fun going back and visiting.
